Illegal Advertising blights our Neighbourhood

In the last several weeks, three companies have defaced our neighbourhood with their illegal advertising. If you object to their tactics, please contact them directly. They are:

1. Warner Brothers - Robin Mogal, Publicity Department, 416-250-8384 (they painted an ad for their upcoming movie - Legends of the Guardians on the sidewalk at QQ and Bay)

2. SAB Miller - J. Meyer Kahn, CEO, www.sabmiller.com - A Dutch company that hired Mark Anthony Brands (647-428-3131) to paint an ad for Grolsch Beer on the sidewalk in front of the LCBO

3. Telus, who hired a company to project an ad on the side of the Harbour Castle Westin from a portable projector mounted atop a car parked in front of 10 Bay

Sugar Beach Opens!

Toronto Centre MPP Glen Murray, Toronto City Councillor Pam McConnell, Federal Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty, Waterfront Toronto’s Chair Mark Wilson, Mayor of Toronto David Miller, and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Brad Duguid official open Canada’s Sugar Beach and phase one of the Water’s Edge Promenade.
